THE PHILOSOPHY
Chase Aesthetics! def.: to be in a constant search to observe, study, and create works of art in ascending beauty and meaning. I developed the philosophy of Chasing Aesthetics! on cold winter days seeking out my dreams at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts and the Walker Art Center. I was struggling and the aesthetics brought me meaning. The exhibits mentioned in the article pushed me in creative ways that few other exhibits had. I credit Ms. Kaywin Feldman and Ms. Olga Viso for their dynamic vision they brought to the Twin Cities around the same time, the onset of the 2008 financial crisis. My visits to these two museums brought out the best in my thinking and being.. The Walker and Mia felt right at home to push myself forward.
